Our studio is located on the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich, 5 minutes walk from the DLR and national rail stations and five minute walk in the other direction towards the River Thames.
The Royal Arsenal has an extraordinary history and we’re proud to now be a part of it. Originally owned by the Board of Ordnance in the 17th century, the Arsenal was at its largest and busiest during the First World War. Many original
buildings still exist and are in the process of being preserved or converted.
Our own building dates from the Victorian era and is known to have been a warehouse facility, housing amongst other
things part of the on-site railway track. Away from all things military there’s the small matter of a certain major Premier League football club which has its roots right here. The canons dotted around certainly don’t allow you to forget!
Today, the Royal Arsenal and Woolwich in general are undergoing massive redevelopment. In 2018 the Woolwich
Crossrail station will open, located immediately behind our studio, putting Bond Street only 20 minutes away. Currently the DLR, national rail and Thames Clipper services all mean that central London is closer than you might think.
We have free parking spaces right outside our front door if you prefer to drive to us (we’re happily outside of the congestion zone). Click on the download link blow for advice on how to find us by plane, train or automobile.
